Getting Around By CarRenting a car can be quite expensive and is only recommended for those who know the cities and areas. There are many methods of cheaper and more times safer transportation. Although the streets do have marked lanes, almost no one obeys them. At times a four lane road can become six lanes. Taxis, buses, and commuters are known to move in and around making driving very difficult for those not experienced in the Argentine style. Most streets, except for some large avenues are one way and those that are two-way mainly do not offer any ways of making a left turn. You will have to make a right turn and find a block or two that will allow you access to find a method to get to the street you wanted to access. Parking can be another major problem. Although there are numerous parking garages around the city, most are very small and packed. If you are not that well experienced in parking in small spaces you are in for quite and experience that will not only frustrate you but the parking attendant as well. That all being said, if you do have access to a car to drive, you can find it to be a rewarding experience when wanting to explore areas outside of the cities. Many nice restaurants and parks are often in the suburbs and can be difficult to reach and return from by other means of transpiration. |
