Argentina SteakhousesIf there is any type of restaurant that one should visit at least once in Argentina, it is the steakhouse, or parrilla. You cannot fully experience Argentine cuisine without first sampling the great juicy cuts of meat that are served within these establishments. That is, of course, if you are a true meat lover. You can always tell when one nearby from the smoky mouth-watering scents that waft from their vents. The smell alone will bring out a desire to satisfy any hunger within you. The style of cooking is so well praised that Argentine steakhouses are starting to pop up in various countries around the globe. One thing to keep in mind is that most all steakhouses have al a carte menus. This means that you won't see a steak, baked potato, and salad as a combination meal. Basically you select whatever types of meats, salads, and sides as separate entities. The benefit of this is that portions tend to be large in most restaurants, so what might seem like an expensive side dish of cream potatoes is more than likely enough to split between 2-3 people. Always ask the waiter how big the portions are before ordering. Buenos AiresCabaña Las Lilas El Mirasol
